Have sew much fun learning how to machine sew (and a little hand sewing too!) by making some holiday gifts for family or friends. You choose who you'd like to make the gifts for. Kiddos will be completing a fleece scarf and pillow on the sewing machine. Then also decorate/craft some ornaments to give as gifts too. They will also gift wrap everything up so it's secret and ready to go for the holidays! 

Open to kids in 4th grade and up.

Pack a water bottle for drop off.

Girls will each craft a miniature camp out scene for a cute 6-inch teddy bear they will be given.  Some crafts include a campfire with smores, mini lemonade drinks, basket of wildflowers and egg and bacon on a frying pan!

Pack a water bottle as we have no water fountain.  Doors will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to class start time.

NOTE--Drop off/pick up event.  Once you come in take a tour, and the girls are all settled and comfy we ask that all parents come back at pick up time OR hang on porch/your car if you want to stay on location.  This is due to spacing issues, and also the comfort and concentration of the girls as they can have a better experience without distractions etc.  NOTE:  leaders are welcome to stay on location on our front poor.  We can have chairs and a table set out on the porch. You can take the time to get some leader planning done if wanted! IF weather is terrible we can allow for 1-2 leaders inside in the adjoing room but we don't have space for more than that. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

• Town of Middleburg:  head 50 West 5-10 minutes (cute historic town with shops and resturants)
• Wineries, Cider Barn and Quattro Gumbas Brewery/Winery are all about 10 min drives. And  50 West Winery and Chrysalis Winery are literally next door 2 minute drive and there are tons of other ones nearby with food etc.
• Hammerdown BBQ (8-10 minute drive head 50 East from studio)
• Greenheart Juice Cafe and Mercer Tavern Antiques...cafe with smoothies, juices, lunch, treats, snacks etc. and an antique shop (30 second drive down the road in Aldie)
• Historic Aldie Mill offers free weekend tours seasonally only until 4pm  (30 second drive down the road in Aldie)
• Gum Springs Library (awesome library 12 minutes away in Stone Ridge right off of Rt. 50 heading East from the studio) has great free kiddo activites and kids section

This is registration for a 2 hour duet private mom and me sewing lesson!  You and your child/teen will have fun learning how to use the sewing machine and each make 1-2 projects each, learn how to cut and pin etc.

NOTE:  Register ONE time under your childs name as price is set for two people total.  It says "one seat left" but that counts as both of you. =)

Doors will be unlocked no more than 5 minutes prior to class start time.  Please wait until your lesson time to come in as we sometimes have prior lessons ending 15 minutes before your lessons.

NOTE:  Feel free to pack a snack and/or water bottle if needed. We have no water fountain.

P.S. For weekday parking please do not park directly in front of the building by the double doors as the business on first floor needs their door clear. That is not a parking spot and it blocks their door.

Come have an awesome winter themed time crafting your own cute snowman plushie! Learn how to hand sew a fleece hat/scarf set for your new snowman plushie! Then craft some cozy winter themed items for your new pushie: campfire, smores and roasted marshmallows!

This slot is for a one-on-one hand sewing lesson of 2 hours long.  The student will learn how to hand sew and make a few fun projects too!

Projects will be all AG themed: learning how to hand sew buttons/embellishments onto an AG dress and then a second project (from our list) TBD after you gift her the lesson. =)

Drop off/pick up class.  Pack your AG doll and a water bottle as we have no water fountain (and nut free snack if wanted).

Door will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to lesson start.

DROP OFF NOTE:  Due to the concentration of the student we have found they can retain the learning better without parents present during the lesson) we will be doing drop off/pick up at the porch/our front door to eliminate the amount of people coming in and out of the studio.  We will come down at the time of lesson and unlock the door and let your child/teen inside.  If you have never been before we are happy to show you around inside for a few at drop off. You are welcome to hang on the covered porch outside.  There are also two cafes down the road 30 second drive: Greenheart Juice. Also Historic Middleburg is a 8 minute drive heading 50 West with lots of shops, and restaurets. Stone Ridge shopping center is a 12 minure drive heading 50 East with Herris Teeter, BrewBirds Coffee Shop and more.  Thank you for your understanding.
