This is registration for a 2 hour solo machine sewing lesson! Your kiddo will learn how to machine sew, how to cut and pin and complete some projects too! NOTE-We do not allow students to bring in their own machines, so they will be using our machines here.

What to pack for drop off:

• water bottle
• snack if needed
• sweater/sweatshirt (AC is on in summer and Fall)

NOTE-Door will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to lesson start. 

DROP OFF NOTE:  We will be doing drop off/pick up at the porch/our front door.  We will come down at the time of lesson and unlock the door and let your child/teen inside.  Feel free to pack a snack or water bottle if wanted.  (If you have never been before inside the studio, we are happy to show you both inside for a few minutes, before you drop off.) Thank you for understanding this rule as we have found over the years the kids/teens can consentrate and retain learning better without parents and extra people inside during the lesson. Parents are welcome to hang on the covered front porch and sit/read in the outdoor chairs if wanted!

WEEKDAY DROP OFF/PARKING NOTE:  For weekday drop off/pick up please do not park directly in front of building by double doors.  The farrier business on the first floor (open on weekdays) needs their doors clear for deliveries and parking in front of their door is not a parking space.

Cadettes earn this rare and retired badge IP! Learn a few types of crafts and make the following such as: air dry clay frying pan (with bacon and eggs) jewelry trinket dish, make your own 90’s/Y2K inspired bracelets, and machine sew a travel size pillow to keep for yourself and also work on a service project together (dog/cat blanket for an animal shelter).  Note: We will let your troop be in charge of donating/bringing the finished blankets to your local shelter and they can also write a card to go with it). Class paid with troop funds.

Pack a water bottle as we have no water fountain.

Doors will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to class start time.

Drop off/pick up event.  Once you come in take a tour, and the girls are all settled and comfy we ask that all parents come back at pick up time.  This is due to spacing issues, and also the comfort and concentration of the girls as they can have a better experience without distractions etc.  NOTE:  that leaders are welcome to stay on location on our front poor.  We have table and chairs set out for you!
