Have so much fun learning how to machine sew (and a little hand sewing too) and make your own cute Thin Mint pillow complete with a sash and decorate it the way you'd like! Earn our "I learned to sew at Cupcakes and Lace" fun patch too!

Pack a water bottle as we have no water fountain.

Doors will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to class start time.

Drop off/pick up event.  Once you come in take a tour, and the girls are all settled and comfy we ask that all parents come back at pick up time.  This is due to spacing issues, and also the comfort and concentration of the girls as they can have a better experience without distractions etc.  NOTE:  that leaders are welcome to stay on location on our front poor.  We can have chairs/table set out on the porch. Please let us know prior so we can set the porch up for you.

Girl Scouts come learn how to machine sew (and a little hand sewing too!) and make your own GS inspired thin mint cookie plushie and GS printed fleece scarf!  Great wearable projects to use at your cookie booth too or just for fun! Earn/this includes our own original sewing fun patch that you will be given at the end of the class!

This is registration for two 1.5 hour solo sewing machine lessons!  Your kiddo/teen will learn how to machine sew, how to cut and pin and complete some projects too! 

Lesson dates are:

• 11/22 from 10am-11:30am
• 12/13 from 10am-11:30am

What to pack for drop off:

• water bottle
• snack (if wanted)

NOTE-Door will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to lesson start.

DROP OFF NOTE:  We will be doing drop off/pick up at the porch/our front door.  We will come down at the time of lesson and unlock the door and let your child/teen inside.  Feel free to pack a snack or water bottle if wanted.  (HOWEVER, If you have never been before inside we are happy to show you both inside for a few minutes, before you drop off.) Thank you for understanding this drop off rule as we have found over the years the kids/teens can consentrate and retain learning better without parents and extra people inside during the lesson. We do lock the front door for safety once lessons/classes start. Parents are welcome to hang outside on the covered front porch during the duration of the lessons if you prefer to stay on location. 

WEEKDAY DROP OFF/PARKING NOTE:  For weekday drop off/pick up please do not park directly in front of building by double doors.  The farrier business on the first floor (open on weekdays) needs their doors clear for deliveries and parking in front of their door is not a parking space.

DROP OFF NOTE:  Due to the concentration of the student we have found they can retain the learning better without parents present during the lesson) we will be doing drop off/pick up at the porch/our front door to eliminate the amount of people coming in and out of the studio.  We will come down at the time of lesson and unlock the door and let your child/teen inside.  If you have never been before we are happy to show you around inside for a few at drop off. You are welcome to hang on the covered porch outside.  Historic Middleburg is a 8 minute drive heading 50 West with lots of shops, and restaurants. Stone Ridge shopping center is a 12 minure drive heading 50 East with Herris Teeter, BrewBirds Coffee Shop and more.  Also Mercer Antiques and Historic Aldie Mill is a 30 second drive away. This is registration for a 1.5 hour duet private mom and me sewing lesson! 

You and your child/teen will have fun learning how to use the sewing machine and each make 1-2 projects.  FYI we are not having students bring in their own machines so you both would be using/learning on ours here at the studio.

NOTE:  Register ONE time under your childs name as price is set for two people total.  It says "one seat left" but that counts as both of you. =)

Doors will be unlocked no more than 5 minutes prior to class start time.  Please wait until your lesson time to come in as we sometimes have prior lessons ending 15 minutes before your lessons.

WHAT TO PACK NOTE:  Feel free to pack a water bottle if needed. We have no water fountain. No need to bring anything else! Please note we only teach on the machines here, so please do not bring your own.

Have a super fun festive time with this holiday themed elf class! Receive an adorable 10 inch elf plushie as well as a fleece sleeping bag and then craft and sew minatures! Hand sew a pillow to go with your sleeping bag for your elf, craft a campfire with mini pretend smores, mini hot cocoa and more!

Drop off/pick up class. Pack a nut free bag lunch and water bottle.
