Cupcakes and Lace

This is a private troop GS class for Troop#42101 only. Paid with troop funds.

Girls learn about butterflies and hand sew (we use plastic needles for Daisy age for safety) your own Butterfly plushie, enjoy a fun butterfly inspired snack and more!  Earn our Cupcakes and Lace Butterfly fun patch too! 

Doors will be unlocked no more than 5 minutes prior to class start time.  

This class is a drop off/pick up class.  Please pack a water bottle for your daughter.

NOTE-Due to spacing issues and for the comfort and concentration of the girls we ask (once you come in, see the inside and meet us, and the girls are all settled and comfy) that we keep the classes to just us instructors and girls.  Thanks for understanding this rule so we can provide the best experience for the girls without distractions.

A few leaders/parents are welcome to hang out on our big covered front porch, if they want to stay on location.  We have plenty of outdoor chairs and tables that we will set out for you.  You can take the time to get some leader planning done. =).

NOTE:  Some fun activities for parents to do nearby:

• Dulles Landing Shopping Center:  15 minutes away heading 50 East-(DSW, Michaels, WalMart, 5Below, HomeGoods, Dicks Sporting Goods, Dunkin Donuts)
• South Riding Shopping Center:  15 minutes away on the other side of Loudoun County Parkway heading 50 East (Moe's, Giant, Home Depot etc.)
• Town of Middleburg:  head 50 West 5-10 minutes (cute historic town with shops and restaurants)
• Wineries, Cider Barn and Quattro Gumbas Brewery/Winery!  50 West Winery and Chrysalis is literally next door 2 minute drive and there are tons of other ones nearby with food etc.
• Mercer Antiques, La Selva Coffee Truck and Oak & Ember Restaurant (30 second drive down the road in Aldie)
• Hammerdown BBQ (10 minutes away heading East on Rt. 50 from the studio)
• Historic Aldie Mill offers free weekend tours only until 4pm  (30 second drive down the road in Aldie)
• Gum Springs Library (awesome new library 12 minutes away in Stone Ridge right off of Rt. 50 heading East from the studio) Stone Ridge Shopping Center (12 minutes away in Stone Ridge right off of Rt. 50 heading East from the studio...there is a Herris Teeter with Starbucks, Glory Days, Ciro's Pizza, Brusters Ice Cream, Walgreens, Wendys)
